• Cite this: The morphological differences in the types of hair follicles (HF) in representatives of 18 genera are described. In the species that have predominance of the primary HF in the skin (cattle, horse et al.) the sweat secretion system is dominant, but in those that have polytypic HF (sheep, goat, deer et al.) — steroid system. The HF of the south species are situatied skin-deep, whereas they are deep in the species from temperat climate.

Описаны морфологические различия типов волосяных фолликулов (ВФ) у представителей 18 родов отряда копытных. У видов с преобладанием в коже первичных ВФ (крупный рогатый скот, лошади и др.) доминирует потовыделительная система, а у видов с разнотипными ВФ (овцы, козы, олени и др.) — стероидная. ВФ у южных видов залегают поверхностно, у видов из умеренного климата — глубоко. The morphological differences in the types of hair follicles (HF) in representatives of 18 genera are described.
