The observation records on the Pinus sylvestris L. var. cretacea Kalen. еx Kom., P sylvestris L. seedling growth are presented in the article. The data on the development of these sorts by their preservation, pine-needles length and height are given. It has been described what negative affect can have spring and autumn frosts, which cause bloating, or fill in young pine seedlings during the first years of their growth, in conditions of chalk deposit slopes scree.
