For the first time in Ukrainian industry regions introduction plant experiment of 6 species and 2 subvarieties of the genus Pittosporum Banks et Soland. ex Gaertn. was conducted. It took place under conservatory conditions of the Donetsk and Krivoy Rog Botanical Gardens of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and under conditions of Krivoy Rog ore-repair plant tool shop. The species differences of plant adaptive strategies are fixed both on the base of studyings of phenorythms and biometric measurements data. Basing on the data of longstanding observations (6-30 years), the genus Pittosporum Banks et Soland. ex Gaertn. plants are defined as highly ornamental and perspective ones, that possess high ecology flexibility level.
