For the first time O. basilicum released varieties (′Nignyi aromat′ and ′Purpurova zoria′) were obtained. They differ from each other in the following features: parameters of organs, anthocyanin pigmentation extent, terms and duration of phenologic phases, early ripeness, marketable crop capacity and mature seeds yield.
