Вивчено вплив водних екстрактів підземної частини Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn. на схожість, енергію проростання насіння та розвиток проростків чотирьох видів кормових рослин: Elytrigia elongata (Host.) Nevski, Festuca regeliana Pavl., Medicago sativa L.′Veselopodolaynskaya′ і Trifolium pratense L., а також розвиток проростків цих видів на ґрунті з ризосфери S. marianum. Доведено наявність біологічно активних речовин в підземній частині і у ґрунті з ризосфери S. marianum виявлено високу алелопатичну активність цієї культури у відношенні до M. sativa та E. elongata. Встановлено толерантність F. regeliana та T. pratense до алелопатичного впливу S. marianum, що надає підстави для використання даного виду як попередника цих видів у сівозміні кормових рослин.
The paper studies the influence of water wastes of the underground part of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn. on germination rate, energy of seed germination and seedling development of four species of forage plants: Elytrigia elongata (Host.) Nevski, Festuca regeliana Pavl., Medicago sativa L.′Veselopodolaynskaya′ and Trifolium pratense L., as well as the development of these species seedlings in the ground from rhizosphere of S. marianum. The presence of biologically potential substances in the underground part and in the ground from rhizosphere of S. marianum has been proven and high allelopathic activity of this plant towards M. sativa and E. elongata has been revealed. It has been established that F. regeliana and T. pratense are tolerant to allelopathic effect of S. marianum and it gives reasons for using the species appointed as a precursor of these species during the sowing change of forage plants.
