Викладено результати вивчення біоморфологічних особливостей виду Dianthus cruentus Griseb. у Донецькому ботанічному саду НАН України. Встановлено, що при інтродукції досліджений вид повністю проходить весь цикл росту і розвитку, що свідчить про достатній рівень адаптації його до умов регіону. Виявлено, що оптимальним способом розмноження D. cruentus у культурі є насіннєвий. Оцінено успішність інтродукції та перспективність використання виду в озелененні на південному сході України. The results of studies on Dianthus cruentus Griseb. biomorphological features in the Donetsk Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are summarized in the paper. It is established that this species is characterized by complete growth and development cycle in the course of introduction that is indicative of its adaptation to the regional conditions. Seed propagation has proved optimal for cultivated D. cruentus. Introduction success is evaluated and also the potential of this species introduction in the landscape gardening in the south-east of Ukraine.
