of five main dictionary areas – terminography, encyclopedic lexicography, experimental
lexicography, classificational lexicography, and special conceptography. The
main groups of multitype dictionaries specified within the above mentioned dictionary
areas are defined and quantitatively characterized. The degree of theoretic development
of different areas of Belarusian special lexicography is estimated. The conclusion
about the necessity of more even development of all the analyzed areas of Belarusian
special lexicography is substantiated.
