Дано иллюстрированное описание нового вида клещей-фитосейид Typhlodromus mutatus Kolodochka, sp. n. (Parasitiformes, Phytoseiidae) с можжевельника (Juniperus sp.) из Украинских Карпат. Новый вид тесно родственен Typhlodromus beglarovi Kuznetsov, 1984 и T. laurae Arutunjan, 1974. От первого он отличается несколько большей длиной дорсальных щетинок и иным соотношением их длин, наличием двух, а не одной макрохеты на ноге IV пары, более длинными перитремами самки. От второго – заметно большей степенью склеротизации покровов и наличием скульптировки на всей поверхности дорсального щита, а не только на задней его половине наличием двух, а не трех, макрохет на ноге IV. От обоих известных видов – обратным соотношением длин щетинок PM2 и PL2 (у T. beglarovi щетинка PM2 равна или, реже, короче PL2, у T. laurae щетинка PM2 короче PL2, тогда как у нового вида щетинка PM2 длиннее PL2), строением сперматеки самки и сперматодактиля самца, а также другими признаками.
Typhlodromus mutatus Kolodochka, sp. n. from juniper (Juniperus sp.) from the Carpathian region of Ukraine is described and figured; measurements and diagnosis are given. The new species is closely related to Typhlodromus beglarovi Kuznetsov, 1984 and T. laurae Arutunjan, 1974, differing from the first by somewhat longer dorsal setae and ratio of their lengths, by two macrosetae on leg IV rather than one, and longer female peritremae. From the second species, it differs by heavier sclerotised cover, which is sculptured over all the surface of dorsal shield rather than only on its caudal part, by two rather than three macrosetae on leg IV. From both mentioned species it can be distinguished by the opposite ratio of the lengths of setae PM2 and PL2 (in T. beglarovi PM2 is equal or shorter than PL2, in T. laurae PM2 is shorter than PL2, while PM2 is 2—3 μm longer than PL2 in the new species), by the structure of spermatheca in female and the structure of spermatodactilon in male as well as by some other characters.
