Oranges are one of the most commonly consumed fruits, and are included in the diet in the world and our country throughout the year round. Orange is recorded as one of the most allergenic foods of plant origin. One of the major orange allergens is Cit s 1. The purpose of this paper is to describe the frequency of sensitization to orange allergens, depending on the age and set by the first national ELISA test systems for the determination of IgE-antibodies to the above allergens. Materials and methods. We investigated the serum of 100 children, between the ages of 7 months to 16 years with allergic dermatitis and urticaria. Determination of the levels of total IgG, specific IgG to orange allergens in the serum of patients was done by the first national ELISA test systems fourth generation. We studied the age-distribution of the levels of specific IgG, calculated Kendall’s correlation coefficients. Results. Diagnostically significant levels of IgG to orange allergens were recorded at 71,0+4,5% % of patients. And the dynamics of its concentration as a function of age was almost identical. Direct (р<0,01) significant correlation between the levels of total IgG and specific IgE-antibodies to orange allergens was installed (tau=0,213) Conclusions.
