Статтю присвячено вирішенню актуального завдання виявлення і використання соціальних ресурсів, пошуку механізмів їх відтворення, збереження та раціонального використання для сталого розвитку регіону як цілісної соціально - економічної системи.Розглянуто сучасні підходи та концепції управління соціальними ресурсами, їх класифікація. За результатами аналізу літературних джерел виявлено, що практично невивченою залишається проблема використання соціального ресурсу благодійності та волонтерства у забезпеченні сталого розвитку регіону.
Creating the conditions for country and its regions sustainable development involves significant amounts of natural, physical, financial, social and other resources attraction. At the same time the social aspects of sustainable development were considered mainly as the labor and educational resources involvement. Therefore the concept of social resources is broader and includes all the spiritual and material values related to the people vital interests. The task of identifying and use of social resources, the search for mechanisms of its reproduction, conservation and management for region sustainable development as an integrated socio-economic system seems to be urgent. The article discusses the modern approaches of social resources management, including the human resources concept, human potential concept, human capital concept, social capital concept as well as the approaches to the classification of social resources. As the result of literature sources analysis it is revealed that the social resources management at the regional level was not sufficiently investigated so the problem of social philanthropy and volunteering usage in the region sustainable development remains virtually unexplored. The aim of the article is to identify the modern trends of volunteering and potential uses of volunteering in promoting the region sustainable development. Deconstructing between the public need for a more complete and efficient use of social volunteering resources and inadequate scientific elaboration of theory and technology to manage these resources has been revealed. Necessity of theoretical understanding of this unconventional form of social resources, the development of conceptual and terminological has been ground. Modern trends of volunteering development and its scope in the global community using the charity index were given.Substantiated that the social volunteering resources involvement for solving social, economic and environmental problems of local communities will contribute to quality of life improvement and helps to form conditions for region sustainable development.
