For this purpose, the motion of high energy ions is simulated numerically in the Large Helical Device, as an example of such a device. It is shown that owing to LH heating, initially well-confined particles are expelled from the plasma in time less then the ion-electron collisional time. Therefore, it is possible to use this method of heating for helium ash removal in a stellarator-reactor.
