Summary:A review of currently available high-energy photon polarimeters, which use the effect of asymmetry of recoil electron yield during triplet photoproduction, is presented. The influence of both multiple scattering of electrons and d-electron production in the target medium on the decrease of the experimentally observed asymmetry is considered. The graphs of effective asymmetry and the figure of merit versus target thickness are given.
