Linear hybrid automats which are defined on a cone are described. To study the solution stability, it is accepted to use the method of Lyapunov functions which requires the construction of matrices with certain properties. The necessary and sufficient conditions of existence of a matrix H positive on a cone such that the matrix A^T H + HA is negative are obtained.
