The influence of the shaping of the pressure profile on the plasma equilibrium and stability properties has been investigated for the Standard case, <b>=4%. Simulation has shown that the edge region is almost independent of the pressure profile, while plasma properties inside the last closed magnetic surface (LCMS) are considerably changed.
