До обігу вводяться нові матеріали розвідок на території Олевського району, що дозволяє доповнити археологічну карту регіону. Собранные в процессе разведок материалы дополняют археологическую карту региона. For a long time in the Olevskyy district of Zhytomyr region, archaeological works were not carried out. After establishing the preservation work in the area and the creating appropriate structures, a systematic study of Olevskyy district became possible. Department of Archaeology of the Regional Inspectorate for Protection of Cultural Heritage at the Department of Culture and Tourism of the regional state administration, occasionally, during 2005 - 2009 years carried out archaeological researches in the specified area. As a result, it was revealed 13 new archaeological sites. In addition, since 2005, the beginning of the study to identify and examine burial complexes and gravestones, stone crosses of late Middle Ages and modern times. The region managed to record 27 stone crosses, including that one that had inscriptions. Among them, the most interesting was the cross of the XVII century, in the wall of the Orthodox Church, with Latin inscriptions. Collected materials help to complement the archaeological map of the region.
