that were elaborated in the researches of globalization and world-system analysis. It is
emphasized that the research of globalization and WSA are competitive analytical
perspectives. While the research of globalization consider modern period as a qualitatively new phase of global system formation, world system analysis asserts that the
essence of new great transformation consists in the crisis of modern global capitalist
system and transition to a new historical one. Comparison between the research of
globalization and world-system analysis demonstrates that the latter provides more
clear picture of social reality. |
