Digital Library of Periodicals of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine| Резюме: | At attempt to characterize the current state of sociological research in Ukraine is the
main goal of this article. For that the author has subjected to content analysis the
abstracts of scientific works collected in the “Kharkiv Sociological Readings”. The
author proves that total number of being for the last four years published articles
(above 600) as well as their authors representing different regions of Ukraine and
almost all levels of proficiency give grounds for quite sweeping generalizations. The
analysis matter included themes and number of published papers from the various
branches of sociological knowledge. Describing the development of special sociological
knowledge the author also demonstrates the most essential disproportion in its various
branches.
