Ключові слова: людина, особистість, індивід, індивідуальність, культура. В статье рассматривается понятие личности в его культурно-историческом осмыслении. Отмечается «восхождение» в понимании личности от социально-типического до индивидуальностно- персоналистского, от конкретно-эмпирического рассмотрения до оформления как важнейшей мировоззренческой идеи. Особенное внимание обращено на подлинный смысл данного понятия, отражающего не просто социокультурную сущность человека, но и фиксирующего его особенные качества как самодостаточного и ответственного творца собственного мира и мира культуры. Ключевые слова: человек, индивид, личность, индивидуальность, культура. This article studies the concept of personality in its cultural and historical understanding. Particular attention is paid to the philosophical sense of the concept, reflecting not just socio-cultural nature of human, but to its special qualities which was fixing as self-sufficient and responsible of the creator's own world culture. The article was an attempt to decide on whether each person living in the community and is a socio-cultural processes of participants owls is a person. Or does the person provide some special quality characteristics? To determine this, the author analyzes the formation of the concept of personality in the history of anthropological thought and his "enrichment" the development of society and culture. In particular, it was noted, "climbing" within the meaning of the concept from its social-typical to the individually-significant personality understanding of concrete empirical examination before registration as an ideological ideas fixing by socialcultural characteristics of the individual as an individual, free and responsible entity. The study conclusions were drawn about the intrinsic qualities of the individual in its world outlook and anthropological dimension. Identified as the most significant:-socio-cultural nature of the individual; - consistency and integrity of biologically social, psychological and cultural qualities of the person;- the ability and the opportunity to work according to their own understanding and free will of the individual, but not necessarily ownership and the "higher" values; - harmonious, unique mix of human, typical of the group-and individual characteristics. Also noted that the individual cannot be studied directly as a subject. Personality is formed and manifests itself in the specific historical conditions, and only through the analysis of these displays and records the features of the crop may enter the world of the individual and understanding.
