В статье анализируются неповторимые особенности панорамы черновицких сакральных зданий как архитектурной доминанты города. У статті аналізуються неповторні особливості панорами чернівецьких сакральних будівель як архітектурної домінанти міста. The paper investigates sacred architecture of Chernivtsi as the ideological and stylistic dominant of city. This ensemble is one of the best urban landscapes of Ukraine and gives grounds to call Chernivtsi "architectural perl". It is dominated by sacred buildings of various denominations, built in a different time and in different architectural styles, which makes the landscape dimension of spiritual search and shows the traditional deep Chernivtsi tolerance, but also reflects the typical situation Chernivtsi`s organic multiculturalism. This ensemble is a complete and harmonious unity, although the Soviet time, in our day, there was no lack of initiatives to break this harmony, "add" architectural palette of skyscrapers etc. Therefore, to attract public attention to the preservation of "architectural magic" of the city is an important task for today's researcher. Variety of styles Chernivtsi sacred architecture is a real signification of spiritual and creative capacities Bukovinians past, despite the fact that the city is, as already mentioned, formed generally in the era of the triumph of educational ideas and dissemination of secular culture.
