У статті коротко висвітлена історія взаємин В. В. Тарновського-молодшого і М. Ф. Біляшівського. Автор представляє основні аспекти, які стосуються аналізу розкопок на Княжій горі у 1891-1892 рр., а також формування археологічного зібрання чернігівського мецената. В статье кратко освещена история отношений В. В. Тарновского-младшего и Н. Ф. Биляшивского. Автор представляет основные аспекты, касающиеся анализа раскопок на Княжей горе в 1891–1892 гг., а также формирования археологического собрания черниговского мецената. The article gives a brief description of the history of relations V. V. Tarnovskyi Jr. and M. F. Bilyashivskyi, who highly opinion appreciated each other’s, often consulted, who have exchanged objects of antiques and artifacts and the information about them The author represents the main aspects, which touch 1) the archaeological activities Bilyashivsky’s, which coincides with the beginning of his excavations on Knyazha Gora with financial support Tarnovsky’s Jr.; 2) the analysis of the excavation Knyazha Gora in 1891-1892 gg.; 3) the formation of the archaeological collection of Chernigov patron; 4) the preparation of the collection and «The catalogue of Ukrainian antiquities the V. V. Tarnowsky’s collection» to the beginning of XI Archaeological Congress in 1899 in Kyiv. As a result, the materials were systematized under the historical sequence of eras and geographical the items and divided into 3 sections: prehistorical, great princely and cossack. So Tarnowskyi Jr. and Bilyashivskyi found a rare persistence concerning of research and preservation historical and cultural heritage.
