В статье рассмотрено формирование основных принципиальных детерминант
 регионального инновационного развития Украины. Дано общее понятие термину «принцип».
 Исследованы основные принципы государственной инновационной политики Украины в соответствии с
 Законом Украины «Об инновационной деятельности». Проанализированы базовые принципы
 инновационного развития регионов Европейского Союза (ЕС) на основании классификации региональной
 политики ЕС. Обоснована группировка принципов инновационного развития регионов Украины. У статті розглянуто формування основних принципових детермінант регіонального
 інноваційного розвитку України. Дано загальне поняття терміну «принцип». Виявлено основні принципи
 державної інноваційної політики України, відповідно до Закону України «Про інноваційну діяльність».
 Проаналізовано базові принципи інноваційного розвитку регіонів Європейського Союзу (ЄС) на підставі
 класифікації регіональної політики ЄС. Запропоновано угрупування принципів інноваційного розвитку
 регіонів України. The formation of the basic fundamental determinants of regional innovation development of Ukraine
 was considered. A general definition of the term "principle" was given. The term "principle" comes from the Latin "principium", which means "beginning", "base". According to the definition in the dictionary Ozhegova S.
 [3] principle is a basic starting position for any theory of teaching philosophy theoretical program. Innovative
 development of the region should be carried out according to certain established rules, which are the principles.
 The basic principles of the state innovation policy of Ukraine, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "About
 innovative activity" were identified. Analysis of the main principles of innovation policy lets discover a
 fundamental basis for innovative development in Ukraine, but while developing there is a whole range of
 difficult issues where can be quite useful experience of the European Union (EU), especially the main principles
 of innovative development of European regions. The basic principles of innovative development of the regions of
 the European Union (EU) based on the classification of EC regional policy were given. This system of principles
 has a significant impact on the whole process of innovation relations in the region, the development and
 implementation within it measures on the basis of which further development regulation being built. Grouping of
 the principles of the innovative development of the regions of Ukraine was proposed.
