Examined: problems and prospects of Russian Federation Fund of social insurance (further – FSI) in
a sector of rehabilitation of injured workers.
Increase of occupational diseases and injuries causes necessity of the strengthening of the rehabilitation
significance. FSI should strictly abide by legislative acts of the complex procedure of providing insurance
services to victims in the form of additional forms of assistance according to established parameters, both
medical and economic.
Optimizing the management of insurance services consists in the process of providing quality medical care to
victims, as in the early stages of disease development, immediately after a heavy industrial accident, and at later
stages of the rehabilitation process, by providing a predetermined amount of the insurance assistance with given
limited resources.
Implementation of rehabilitation complex depends on the degree of development of their organizational
mechanism, the possibility of modeling different approaches to the rehabilitation process of victims, as well as
the relationship of medical institutions, the insured ones and the FSI.
