В своїй роботі ми намагались охарактеризувати особливості процесу соціалізації дівчат у
 молодіжних громадах ХІХ - початку ХХ ст. Розглянули звичаї дошлюбного спілкування українців.
 Спілкування у молодіжних громадах сприяло вільному вияву почуття, естетизацій кохання і вільному
 вибору пари. Цей вибір міг, звичайно, згодом, коригуватися волею батьків, котрі керувалися передусім
 економічними розрахунками.
 У ХІХ - на початку ХХ ст. українська дівчина могла вільно висловлювати свої симпатії та почуття,
 була порівняно самостійна у виборі пари. Свобода шлюбних звичаїв, характерна для української
 етнокультури, до певної міри віддзеркалювала традиції молодіжних об’єднань. В своей работе мы пытались охарактеризовать особенности процесса социализации
 девушек в молодежных общинах XIX - начала ХХ вв. Общение в молодежных общинах способствовало
 свободному проявлению чувства, естетизаций любви и свободному выбору пары. Этот выбор мог,
 конечно, впоследствии, корректироваться воле родителей, которые руководствовались, прежде всего,
 экономическими расчетами.
 В XIX - начале ХХ вв. украинская девушка могла свободно выражать свои симпатии и чувства, была
 сравнительно самостоятельна в выборе пары. Свобода брачных обычаев, характерная для украинской
 этнокультуры и в известной степени отражала традиции молодежных объединений. Ukrainian customs of premarital relations, which kept some remains of archaic traditions, ensure the
 whole system activity in ritualized and etiquette codes of behavior, which created favorable conditions for
 bringing together of youth, stimulating of love. A lot of comprehensive studies were created in Ukrainian
 ethnology regarding youth fellowships.
 The purpose of the article is to describe the features of the socialization process of young females within youth
 fellowships in the XIX - early XX century.
 Youth gatherings, which lasted until the early of XX century, took place on the basis of traditional and everyday
 Ukrainian culture in the form of: street, which starts from Easter and lasted until the fall, parties, that conducts
 from autumn to spring, and day breaks (the difference from parties was only that they lasted longer – until
 dawns, hence the name).
 Ukrainian folk songs about love often take the form of a dialogue, researchers used to point that out, seeing it as
 a manifestation of parity in love.
 Development of the dialogic form in Ukrainian folklore songs largely caused due to traditional custom youth
 gatherings. Since boys and girls as members of girls’ and boys’ fellowships stood separately on the “street” –
 girls on the one side and boys on the other.
 Communication in youth fellowships encourages free expression of feelings, esthetization of love and free choice
 of the couple. This choice could, of course, eventually, be adjusted by parents who are primarily guided by
 economic calculations.
 In the XIX - early XX century Ukrainian girl could freely express her sympathies and feelings and was relatively
 independent when choosing a pair. Freedom of marriage custom is typical for Ukrainian ethnic culture, to some
 extent reflects the traditions of youth fellowships.
