У статті розглянуті елементи туристичної інфраструктури, проведено аналіз підходів до визначення і класифікації поняття «інфраструктура туризму». Уточнено місце інфраструктури туризму в складі туристичної пропозиції. Дана авторська формулювання поняття «інфраструктура туризму».
The article describes the elements of tourist infrastructure; an analysis of approaches to the definition and classification of the term "tourism infrastructure" is made. Nowadays, the term "infrastructure" is used in economics, politics, sociology, as well as in many technical disciplines. The common feature of all definitions in all areas of infrastructure is that it is "in the possession" and performs "custom functions". An important part of the tourism infrastructure is actually the exact tourist infrastructure, which includes vehicles, facilities for tourists: tourist facilities, spa facilities, entertainment facilities, venues for conferences and seminars; facilities to provide mediation services (maintenance and service information). Additional infrastructure systems, which are constructed in order to ensure the livelihoods of additional residents are allocated to the group, due to the development of tourism, and are related to the production offer. The classification of tourism infrastructure, tourism industry infrastructure, and industrial infrastructure is provided in the article. The place of tourism infrastructure as part of the tourist offer is specified. The most difficult element of the tourism industry infrastructure is the production infrastructure. Tourism infrastructure is a set of interrelated activities and institutional structures to ensure conditions for tourist activity. Both natural and human resources of tourism infrastructure define the tourism potential of the state and the market capacity of tourist services, its ability to receive tourists and to provide services to develop additional ones in the tourist sphere. This largely depends upon the availability of capacity reserve infrastructure sectors of the market. It is necessary to consider the tourism industry and infrastructure of the tourism industry as a complex concept of "tourism infrastructure" that will provide a more accurate understanding of the latter. The author’s definition of the concept "tourism infrastructure" is provided in the article.
