Досліджено хронологію походу угорського палатина Віллерма Другета in
 Ruteniam 1340 р. з метою військової допомоги польському королеві Казимиру ІІІ від
 його союзника й родича, угорського короля
 Карла Роберта Анжуйського. На підставі
 ітінерарію палатина запропоновано висновок про початок походу після 1 травня 1340
 року (datum post quem; найімовірніше, між
 1 та 8 травня) та повернення В. Другета
 до Вишгороду перед 11 червня (datum ante
 quem). Можна припустити, що В. Другет міг активно воювати приблизно десять днів. З огляду на територіальні володіння
 сім’ї Другетів на північному сході Угорщини, а також на підставі імен можливих
 учасників походу, зроблено висновок, що направлене in Ruteniam військо було значною силою. The study researches into the chronology of
 William Drugeth, Palatine of Hungary’s campaigne
 on the Principality of Galicia-Volhynia (in
 Ruteniam) in 1340. The campaign was undertaken
 as a military support to Casimir III the Great,
 King of Poland by his ally and relative, Charles
 Robert, King of Hungary. The author, basing it
 on the Palatine’s itinerary, came to the conslusion
 that the campaign of the Hungarian army
 started after 1st May 1340 (datum post quem;
 most likely between 1st and 8th of May), and that
 Drugeth was back in Visegrad by 11th June (datum
 ante quem). It can be assumed with caution
 that Drugeth took an active part in the battles in
 Galicia for about ten days. With regard to his vast
 estates and authority in the north-eastern part of
 Hungary, and the sporadically saved names of the
 participants in the campaign, we can come to the
 conclusion that the army sent to Ruthenia, represented
 a signifi cant military force.
