У моржа (Odobenus rosmarus Linnaeus, 1758), пойманного в Чукотском море, отмечена цестода Diphyllobothrium cordatum (Leuckart, 1863). Это единственная за последние почти 50 лет регистрация данного вида. Приведено оригинальное описание морфологии изученных цестод, исследованных методом сканирующей электронной и световой микроскопии.  Diphyllobothrium cordatum (Leuckart, 1863) from the walrus (Odobenus rosmarus Linnaeus, 1758) in
 the Chuckchi Sea is considered the first opportunity to study morphology of the species since the initial
 finds 50 years ago. The species is redescribed based on scanning electron and light microscopy.
