unknown amplitude of perturbations by the orthogonal mode. The high sensitivity
of shell to the axial component of hydrostatic pressure is shown.
Викладено методику розв’язання задачі стійкості гофрованих оболонок при рівномірному тиску, який діє на всій поверхні оболонки, включно з торцьовими днищами. Визначено 
критичні навантаження шляхом розв’язання неоднорідної крайової задачі з невідомою амплітудою
збурень по ортогональній формі. Показано високу чутливість оболонок, що розглядаються, до осьової складової всестороннього тиску.
