This article is devoted to formation and development of the new science that is a new highly intellectual metatechnology. This is a technology of scientific and technical creation which idea was proposed by the author in 1981. It is intended to essential intensify the process of scientific and technical problem task setting and solving. The technological approach to problem task solving and the methodological basis of the new science are considered. Besides two possible mechanisms of problem task solving are presented as well as two solving methods: morphological and transformational. The essence and possibility of morphological analysis and synthesis application are described for any to problem task solving. The main directions of the new science development and its direct connection with creative-oriented society are briefly presented. Розглянуто становлення та розвиток нової науки, що є одночасно й високоінтелектуальною інформаційною метатехнологією та технологією наукової та технічної творчості, ідею створення якої автор запропонував у 1981 р. Вона покликана суттєво інтенсифікувати процес постановки та розв'язання наукових і технічних проблемних задач. Розглянуто також технологічний підхід до розв'язання цих задач і методологічну базу нової науки. Крім того, викладено обидва можливих механізми і, відповідно, два класи методів розв'язання даних задач: трансформаційний та морфологічний. Описано сутність та можливість застосування морфологічного аналізу й синтезу для розв'язання будь-яких проблемних задач. Стисло розглянуто основні напрями розвитку нової науки та її безпосередній зв'язок з творчо-орієнтованим суспільством.
