Ecobiotechnology is defined as interdisciplinary trend formed as a result of overlapping of interests, approaches and applied trend methods of ecological science and modern and classic biotechnologies. So these are technological processes that are realized with the use of living organisms or their elements focused on improvement, protection and revival of disturbed by people environment. The most perspective trends of ecobiotechnology are highlighted. The advantages of ecobiotechnology use are demonstrated in comparison with traditional chemical and physical-chemical environmental technologies. Bioenergetics is described as an integral constituent of ecobiotechnology. The principal opportunity and expediency of bioenergetic approaches in solving of energy and environment problems of mankind. Досліджено питання становлення і перспективи розвитку актуальних напрямів сучасної біотехнології - екобіотехнології й біоенергетики. Екобіотехнологія характеризується як міждисциплінарний напрям, що утворився у результаті перетину інтересів, підходів та методів прикладних напрямів екологічної науки та новітніх і класичних біотехнологій. Тобто це технологічні процеси, які здійснюються з використанням живих організмів або їх елементів і спрямовані на поліпшення, захист і відновлення порушеного людиною довкілля. Відзначено найперспективніші напрями розвитку екобіотехнології. Продемонстровано перевагу застосування екобіотехнології у порівнянні з традиційними хімічними та фізико-хімічними природоохоронними технологіями. Біоенергетика розглянута як невід'ємна складова екобіотехнології. Показано принципову можливість і доцільність використання біоенергетичних підходів у розв'язанні енергетичних та екологічних проблем людства.
