The new concept of these waters formation contributed to discover rich fields (2500 i3 per day) in Karpathian and Podil geological region. Chemical and physical research proved that healing properties of «Naftusya»- type mineral waters were governed by its organic (multi-component and labile) composition. Some classes of organic substances and separate compounds were identified and their balneological activity was determined. The method of water conservation was developed, which makes possible water-bottling production and for the first time – medical treatment out of health resort due to long-term retention of native properties in bottled water. As a result of chemical and radiobiological research of «Naftusya»- type mineral waters their new balneological effects were discovered which served as a basis in elaborating a method of prophylaxis and medical treatment of people who are the victims of Chernobyl NPP accident and other environmental disasters. Наводяться результати більш як тридцятирічних комплексних досліджень мімнеральних вод типу "Нафтуся" з підвищеним вмістом бальнеологічно активних органічних речовин. Нова концепція формування цих вод дала змогу відкрити їх багаті родовища (близько 2500 кубічних метрів/добу) у Карпатській та Подільскій геологічних областях. Хіміко-фізіологічними дослідженнями встановлено, що лікувальні властивості мінеральних вод типу "Нафтуся" зумовлені органічним складом - багатокомпонентним і лабільним. Ідентифіковано окремі класи органічних речоіин та частину окремих сполук, визначено їхню бальнеологічну активність. Розроблено метод консервування, що дає змогу здійснювати просимловий розлив води та завдяки довготривалос зберіганню нативних властивосткй уперше проводити курс лікування у позакурортних умовах. Хвмвко-радіобіологічні дослідження нафтусе-подібних вод відкрили їх нові бальнеологічні ефекти, на основі яких розроблено засіб профілактики та лікування населення, що постраждало внаслідок аварії на ЧАЕС та інших еколонічних катастроф.
