The authors underline that still there is no success in getting standardized data on genetic effects of small doses of ionizing radiation that wouldn’t depend on analysis method and specific character of se parate DNA locus variability. Розглядаються питання складності дослідження попу ляційно генетичних наслідків Чорнобильської ката строфи, пов’язані з недостатньо вивченими механізма ми виникнення мутацій, а також зміни внеску їхніх носіїв у наступні покоління. Автори підкреслюють, що досі не вдається отримати однозначних даних про гене тичні ефекти малих доз іонізуючого опромінювання, які б не залежали від методу аналізу та специфіки мін ливості окремих локусів ДНК.
