One of the Institute’s important tasks is obtaining and cryopreservation of stem cells and tissue engineering structures developed on their basis for further use in medical practice. (2): 75—78. https://doi.org/10.15407/visn2023.02.075 Доповідь присвячено отриманим в Інституті проблем кріобіології і кріомедицини НАН України результатам комплексних досліджень з вивчення механізмів кріоушкоджень, природної стійкості біологічних об’єктів до дії холоду, створення ефективних засобів штучного захисту біологічних систем різного рівня організації, розроблення на їхній основі новітніх технологій кріоконсервування біологічних об’єктів, створення кріобанків довгострокового збереження генофонду людей, тварин і рослин. Одним із важливих завдань Інституту є одержання і кріоконсервування стовбурових клітин та розроблених на їх основі тканинно-інженерних конструкцій з метою подальшого застосування в медичній практиці.
