| description | Cold-rolled steel with protective coatings combines the strength and workability (formability) of steel with the corrosion resistance of the protective coating. Therefore, its share in the total production of thin sheet products in the world reaches 85 %. Significant capacities for the production of rolled steel products have been established in Ukraine as well. However, these capacities are underused or almost never used.
The work is devoted to the analysis of the structure of consumption and production of cold-rolled products with protective coatings in Ukraine, to determine the reasons for low capacity utilization and to find opportunities to eliminate them. To solve this problem the results of statistical surveys of production and consumption of this type of products over the past 10 years were used. It is established that the actual load capacity for the production of rolled zinc and polymer coatings does not exceed respectively 20–25 and 10–15 %, and most of the consumption of these types of products is due to imports (respectively about 50 and more than 91 %). The main problem of low load of domestic units for coating is the lack of technical capabilities in Ukraine to obtain cold-rolled products less than 0.5 mm thick, which is in high demand in the market.
In order to successfully solve this problem, two new cold rolling mills in the country need to be built, one – two-cell reverse mill with a barrel length of 1400 mm and another– five-cell continuous mill with a length of barrel of 1700 mm with a total annual capacity of 1.5 – 2.0 million tons. It is also necessary to build small businesses for further processing of rolled products. The tendencies of development of assortment of production and consumption of cold-rolled products with protective coatings are considered. |

Холоднокатаний прокат із захисними покриттями об'єднує в собі міцність і технологічність (формуємість) сталі з корозійною стійкістю захисного покриття. Тому його частка в загальному виробництві тонколистової продукції в світі досягає 85 %. Значні потужності для випуску прокату із захисними покриттями створено і в Україні, але вони завантажені недостатньо або майже не використовуються. Роботу присвячено аналізу структури споживання і виробництва холоднокатаного прокату із захисними покриттями в Україні, встановленню причин низького завантаження наявних потужностей і визначення можливостей для їх усунення. Для вирішення цього завдання використовували результати статистичних досліджень виробництва і споживання даного виду продукції за останні 10 років. Встановлено, що фактичне завантаження потужностей для виробництва прокату з цинковим і полімерним покриттям не перевищує відповідно 20–25 і 10–15 %, і більша частина споживання даних видів продукції забезпечується за рахунок імпорту (відповідно близько 50 і більше 91 %). Основною проблемою низького завантаження вітчизняних агрегатів для нанесення захисних покриттів є відсутність в Україні технічних можливостей для отримання холоднокатаного прокату товщиною менше 0,5 мм, що користується найбільшим попитом на ринку. Для успішного вирішення цієї проблеми в країні повинні бути побудовані два нових стани холодної прокатки: один – двоклітьовий реверсивний стан з довжиною бочки 1400 мм і другий – п’ятиклітьовий безперервний стан з довжиною бочки 1700 мм із сумарною річною продуктивністю 1,5–2,0 млн т. Необхідно також побудувати малі підприємства для подальшої переробки прокату з покриттями. Розглянуто тенденції розширення сортаменту виробництва і споживання холоднокатаного прокату із захисними покриттями.
