Резюме:The advantages of the latest technologies are considered and the concept of transferring precise Lost Foam casting (LFС) to rotary conveyor lines (RCL) is developed. The design of the equipment for hanging the pattern cluster in the casting container and the list of operations, their technological essence and the sequence of molding are described. The method of manufacturing a patterned cluster with a funnel on a riser and installing it into a container in the course of feeding the latter to a molding rotor module using a suspension provides the following. It precisely positions the funnel and the location of the cluster in the container volume, reduces the number of molding operations compared to traditional LFC methods, increases the productivity of molding with rotary modules, as well as the ability to automatically fill molds with metal. The described methods of reinforcing the sand mold and evacuating the sand-filled cavities of the shell castings patterns contribute to the stabilization of the quality indicators of the castings without shedding or displacement of the sandy parts of the mold. The advantages of LFС methods for the transition to RCL are based on the use of fluid materials, the variability of methods for preparing expanded polystyrene, making patterns, filling sand into a mold, compaction, pouring out and regenerating, evacuating and filling a sand mold with metal, as well as removing casting from it. These technological operations, materials and tooling designs can be combined and modified in dozens of combinations. Moreover, dry foundry sand can be cooled and stored in a closed container in an unheated workshop, and most patterns can be stored for weeks. Pattern sites similar to packaging-polymer have light equipment installed on the floors of the premises above the first, and recycling of dry sand does not differ from that in factories of building materials with used transport and packaging equipment. The combination of discrete operations with flows of fluid materials contributes to the transfer of the LGF process to LFС, as a synthesis of continuous-discrete technological flows.
