Zusammenfassung:Additive technologies are considered to be the basis of the industrial revolution of the XXI century, so domestic scientific and technological institutes and innovative industries should actively develop this area to close the existing gap with the scienceintensive economies of the world. The forecasted main directions of development and implementation in industry and our daily additive manufacturing (AM) are described, information about which increases our orientation in this flow of high technologies and which will also contribute to the modernization of foundry processes. For the simplest and most profitable implementation of AM in the foundry production of existing shops, the Lost Foam Casting (LFC) process is recommended, in particular by developing and implementing methods for printing lightweight patterns of expanded polystyrene (EPS) waste. In LFC process, the cost of molding in dry vacuum sand is perhaps the lowest of all known foundry methods. The created method of printing polymer foundry patterns is described, in which cylindrical rod blanks are made in a two-stage mode, from which a filament for an operating printer is then obtained. These types of 3D printers for printing from filament are the most common and inexpensive. Polystyrene, obtained from EPS waste and spent on printing patterns, has a minimum ash content, which will help ensure the quality of castings grown by the LFC method. Two methods of casting have been created for the LFC process with printed patterns, which differ from the traditional methods described by V.S. Shulyak. It is proposed to bring the one-time pattern out of the sand form with the help of a tubular outlet and thus allow the release of excessive gases from its gasification into the air of the shop. But you should install electric lighters over the hole of the evaporators and neutralize the gases from the pattern by burning them. Printed patterns should be made with a continuous longitudinal channel or cavity (shell pattern, possibly with spacers) and by analogy with the V-process, the pattern should be functionally considered as a synthetic thick film, which is lined with sandy surface.
