The promising technology was calculated with a flow rate of pulverized coal (PC) of 180 kg/t of pig iron and compensation of its negative impact by preparing coke for smelting, using coke of improved quality, coke nut (up to 80 kg/t of pig iron), increasing the blast temperature, which reduced coke consumption to 298.7 kg/t of pig iron (176.9 kg/t of iron, 37.2 % reduction from the base level) and increased the furnace productivity by 398.2 tons/day (12.7 %). |
