Summary:The article is devoted to the construction of a diagram of the thermodynamic equilibrium of reactions in the Ni-Cr-Mo-W-O-Csystem regarding the processing of man-made waste, which is related to increasing the level of the ecological component, aswell as occupational safety and hygiene in metallurgical production. To achieve this goal, the conditions of the thermodynamicequilibrium of recovery were calculated depending on the temperature of the process and the concentration of carbon monoxide,which indicates the possibility of reactions. Thanks to the successfully conducted stages of research, significant resultswere obtained with the determination of temperature conditions at certain concentrations of carbon monoxide in the reactionzone, which enable the formation of elements in the free state and carbides. The constructed diagram shows the regions ofequilibrium of the reactions, which indicate the stepwise transformations with the reduction of higher oxide compounds tolower ones with subsequent reduction. It can also be seen that the sections of the diagram with a shift in the equilibrium towardscarbide formation are at relatively low temperatures. To shift the balance of reactions towards the reduction to metals inthe free state, it is necessary to ensure an increase in temperature and concentration of carbon monoxide. That is, obtainingrecovery products without the content of carbides is unlikely. Taking into account the change in the heat capacity of reactioncomponents and phase transitions with temperature changes made it possible to obtain more accurate results. A significantnumber of considered reactions and corresponding regions of equilibrium on the constructed diagram in a wide temperaturerange illuminate a more complete picture of possible transformations in the process of recovery of doped man-made waste.Together with the processing and return to production of metallurgical man-made waste containing refractory elements, areduction in environmental stress and an improvement in the level of safety and occupational hygiene in industrial zones isensured.
