Metal and Casting of Ukraine| Zusammenfassung: | In the blast furnace production of Ukraine, one of the most pressing issues is the modernization of blast furnaces, aimed at ensuring energy-efficient and resource-saving operation of furnaces and units servicing them, in terms of pulverized coal injection (PCI). One of the design solutions aimed at ensuring highly efficient operation of the blast furnace was to equip it with a modern coneless loading device. However, its installation required technical solutions to change the design of the grate. To study the impact of changes in the conditions of gas-dynamic operation of flues, the operation of the exhaust ducts of the blast furnace under different gas-dynamic conditions with the use of numerical simulation in the Ansys Fluent environment and with engineering techniques is considered. The obtained results of gas-dynamic operation of the gas removal path without heat exchange, obtained with the use of numerical modeling and with engineering methods, are compared. It is established that the difference between the results obtained by numerical simulations and engineering methods does not exceed 7 %. The paper presents the results of the analysis of the relationships between the design of the furnace and the parameters of the furnace gas flow with the gas-dynamic mode of operation of the blast furnace and the path of "dirty" gas from the furnace to the dust collector. The gas-dynamic calculation is made and the estimation of change of a design of insertion of flues in a furnace dome taking into account necessity of installation on it сoneless loading device is given.
The heat-gas-dynamic calculation is realized and the influence of change of gas-dynamic parameters of gas flow and crosssectional area of flues on change of pressure losses, speed and temperature difference of blast furnace gas in its path from furnace to dust collector is determined.
It is established that the gas velocity in the charge-free zone of the furnace is a determining parameter for pressure losses not only in the furnace space, but also for the gas-dynamic operation of the Blast Furnace – Dust Collector tract. |
