Zusammenfassung:At the present stage of mining and metallurgical complex development in Ukraine and abroad, special attention is paid to the creation of technologies that allow rational use of the material and energy resources and reduce the negative impact on the environment. Briquetting refers to such technologies, so the number of companies that use it, as well as the range and volume of briquette production in recent years, is expanding rapidly. Consequently, the need for high-performance, reliable in operation of roller presses, which are the main aggregates of technological briquetting lines, increases. An important step in creating an industrial briquetting line is a reasonable choice of press type and design, which is the main unit for the production of the briquettes. It makes the need to solve a problem of further development of tools and methods for roller presses design, which consists of generalization and structuring into a single system of known and newly created analytical methods. It will allow the design process to determine the most efficient roll press design for specific technological tasks. A significant step to solve this problem, which is performing in this work, is to create the roller presses generalized classification system by design and technological parameters. The analysis of average efficiency indicators of roller presses from different developers by comparison with presses of Iron and Steel Institute of Z.I. Nekrasov of the NAS of Ukraine design is performed. The prospects of the further development direction on the improved roller presses with the expanded technological and technical characteristics creation are specified. The structure of the system approach to the roller presses development, based on the structural-parametric synthesis and analysis principles, is proposed.
