Description
Summary:The situation with resources leads to the need to use in the sintering machine a significant amount of iron ore concentrate, sludge, dust, both wet and dry capture and converter slag. The conditions for both preparation and sintering are deteriorating, with the need for flux additives and fuel. The increase in the amount of fine materials leads to the rolling of solid fuel particles in the middle of the granules of the coated charge. This sets a different mass fraction of carbon solid fuel which determines the change in the composition and amount of harmful gases. Carrying out instrumental measurements of the distribution of emissions in vacuum chambers showed that the gases were wetted in the first vacuum chambers. The amount of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, as well as oxides of nitrogen and sulfur is evenly distributed along the length of the sintering machine. The temperature rise of the exhaust gases occurs in the second stage and reaches a maximum value on the last three vacuum chambers. The measurements determine the amount of emissions of major pollutants from the sintering zones of sintering machines of the AKM-75 type. The system of loading of charge with adjustment of an angle of inclination of a loading tray is offered. The angle of inclination of the loading tray for raw material conditions of the enterprise which provides the maximum segregation is defined. Loading of the charge at maximum segregation allowed to increase the redistribution of bulk density and fuel along the height of the charge. An analysis of the emission power from sinter production into the atmospheric air in 2017 with the introduction of a control system for loading the charge onto a sintering carriage showed a positive trend in reducing emissions of carbon monoxide into the atmosphere. The company reduced carbon monoxide emissions by 3471.4 tons compared to 2016.
