Summary:A compulsory element of the process of developing any MIS is the formulation of indications that set the possible limits of the use of the MIS. Ensuring the successful and efficient operation of the operator, especially in extreme conditions, predicting his behavior and logic in making decisions, despite the large number of publications and real projects, is still a problem that is urgent and needs to be solved. Conceptual models of DSS and different approaches to their establishment are presented, as well as the functional architecture of DSS. The analysis of modern DSSs, namely: IndiGo, Aumence, ISAP, Isabel Healthcare, Problem-Knowledge Coupers, Visual DX, Siemens SPPR, PRISCA, Watson IVM system. It is concluded that in most cases, DSS on the current level of development of medicine can not and do not always have to replace a physician. Not all SPPRs, especially Russian ones, meet modern requirements for.
