Summary:Five species of black fungus gnats Corynoptera furcifera Mohrig & Mamaev, 1987, Cratyna (Cratyna) gilva Rudzinski, 2000, Lycoriella (Lycoriella) lundstromi (Frey, 1948), Pseudolycoriella paludum (Frey, 1948) and Xylosciara (Xylosciara) heptacantha Tuomikoski, 1957 are recorded from Ukraine for the first time. Distributions of these species are summarized and diagnoses of the species are provided.
