In the article had been assessed status and performance of industrial enterprises in Ukraine and the regions of Western Region for the main indicators by 2010-2015; had been given the main positive and negative economic trends of industrial activities and the basic economic problems of the industry today; had been proposed measures to improve the competitiveness of domestic industrial production in a free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union (EU) by the authors.
