Economics and Law| Zusammenfassung: | Examines the modern problem of strategic planning of urban development. It is noted that the search for coherent responses to development needs and counter the dominant economic and social crises. There is a need to introduce new approaches to the development of the city. In this regard, it suggests principles for the strategic management of city development. Special attention is given to managerial decisions that focus on the future of the city. It is necessary that the tool of strategy implementation are annual plans for socio-economic development of the city, which are developed based on the strategic plan and target complex programs.
