The individual indicators (employment, unemployment, demand and supply) of labour market in different age groups, sex and place of residence that allow you to judge the state of the youth labor market in Ukraine and contribute to the formation of development strategies aimed at the implementation of the labor and creative potential of young people. Declining levels of employment is established trend and accordingly an increased of unemployment as well as the most problematic age category of youth is identified. Contradiction also was found meaning of which is that young people with high potential for economic activity and a focus on innovative development at the same time has narrowed the scope of its implementation, due to non-compliance of the practical training, the requirements of employers.
