Economics and Law| Zusammenfassung: | The article characterizes in brief a standard and legal basis for carrying out a social dialogue in Ukraine, as well as the publications on some aspects of coordination of interests between partners. To achieve desirable results of social dialogue, the role of development of the public sphere in the social policy is identified, and features of a given dialogue in different countries are described. As prospects for improving the efficiency of social dialogue it is offered to concentrate attention on separate elements which make up a negotiation order in the public sphere of social policy — characteristics of separate social groups the interests of which are represented by subjects of social dialogue, and also possession of certain competences by these subjects.
