Economics and Law| Summary: | The paper analyzes the demographic, production, legal and other factors which have influence on the environmental security of the territories with technogenic load. The dependences which allow to predict the occurrence and development of critical trends of social and economic nature on the territories with technogenic load are identified. The methods of estimating the economic and social consequences entailed by economic activities are offered, and the prospects for its application in making managerial decisions aimed at reducing technogenic load are evaluated.
