Economics and Law| Summary: | Historical and legal preconditions for the development of concessions are considered. The periods in the formation of concession relations are identified. The scientific views of scholars of pre-revolutionary, soviet and modern periods as for the concept "concession" are generalized. The expediency to unife the terminology of the Law of Ukraine "On Concessions" is grounded. Some proposals to improve Ukraine’s concession legislation have been worked out.
