Economics and Law| Summary: | The paper sheds light on key problems in the functioning of the youth segment of the labor market. The features of the economic activity of the youth on the labor market in Donetsk region have been studied. The dynamics of indicators reflecting trends in the development of the youth segment of Donetsk region’s labor market are analyzed, and measures as for promoting the youth employment are considered. The recommendations are offered how to regulate more effectively the youth segment of the labor market in Donetsk regional employment centre.
