description The essence of the concept organizational-economic mechanism is investigated in the article. The theoretical basis of the renewed organizational and economic mechanism for managing innovation development in the region is disclosed. It is established that the organizational and economic mechanisms for managing the innovative development of the regions can be divided into groups. It is noted that the implementation of the organizational and economic mechanism for managing the innovative development of regions in Ukraine involves the use of a set of resources and is associated with certain risks due to changes in external and internal factors. Раскрыта теоретическая основа обновленного организационно-экономического механизма управления инновационным развитием регионов. Установлено, что организационно-экономические механизмы управления инновационным развитием регионов можно разделить на группы. Отмечено, что реализация организационно-экономического механизма управления инновационным развитием регионов в Украине предусматривает использование совокупности ресурсов и связана с определенными рисками в связи с изменением факторов внешней и внутренней среды. Представлены результаты экспертной оценки экономических, социальных, технологических и организационных рисков.  Досліджено сутність поняття «організаційно-економічний механізм». Розкрито теоретичну основу оновленого організаційно-економічного механізму управління інноваційним розвитком регіонів. Встановлено, що організаційно-економічні механ ізми управління інноваційним розвитком регіонів можна розділити на групи. За значено, що реалізація організаційно-економічного механізму управління інноваційним розвитком регіонів в Україні передбачає використання сукупності ресурсів і пов ’язана з певним ризиками у зв’язку зі зміною факторів зовнішнього і внутрішнього середовища. Надано результати експертної оцінки економічних, соціальних, технологічних і організаційних ризиків. V.
